Dr. Joseph M. Shumar:
Dr. Joseph M. Shumar is a designated, certified Estate Planning Specialist by trade. He is a member of the National Association of Professional Agents. Specialties of his practice include retirement planning, estate planning, and wealth management with a concentration in asset preservation. In his practice, he focuses on minimizing taxes presently while maximizing future income potential.
Dr. Shumar holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, two Masters Degrees and a Doctoral Degree with specializations in Insurance and Risk Management. He holds certifications in Executive Management, Supervisory Development, Bond Analysis & Portfolio Management and Credit Analysis. He is licensed in the State of Ohio in the lines of Life, Accident & Health, Property and Casualty.
Dr. Shumar’s philosophy is that short term performance shall never exceed long term planning. He is championing that life continues after the paycheck stops. In addition, Dr. Shumar maintains a driving passion for his clients to safely preserve their hard earned money, and to retire making every day Saturday while not outliving their money.
Marylan Walden Taylor, MBA:
Marylan Walden Taylor, MBA is a Benefits Consultant with over twenty years of experience as well as a Certified Retirement Coach. She has designed plans for the world famous Kentucky Horse Farms and numerous other corporate clients. Ms. Walden Taylor brings her broad professional knowledge and experience to the platform as a guest speaker and panelist at many major universities, corporations and organizations' for professional women.
She holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology with a Minor in Business, as well as a Masters Degree in Finance, with a focus on Insurance and Risk Management. She also holds a certification in Business Management focusing on the professional woman.
